Stencil Gilding

For the most refined finish, the prep work is meticulously planned by our team of painters. Proper Preparation is key to achieving the awe inspiring shine.

Substrates are assessed and smoothed before Priming and Basecoats. Tinted Surface colors are properly assessed for the proper metallic leaf tonalities and application techniques from the classic use of gold foil, to the modern use of gold vapor in a vacuum. Techniques are chosen to fit the needs of the individual spaces in collaboration with all the elements of the room to highlight areas that would add more allure and light.

For stencil work, scale is important. The room is meticulously measured and rendered to show proportion and design. Custom samples with pattern shapes and sizes are provided to decide what best compliments the composition of the room. Depending on desire and scale, stencils can be hand cut or machined to be applied by our skilled painters.
